What do you do for a living? Is this your job, a hobby, etc.?

I am actually a graduate of UCF, currently an engineer by day, omnivorous eater by night.

How did you first get into food blogging?

I used to write for the Central Florida Future newspaper at UCF, but since I graduated, they will no longer accept my work. So I decided to strike out on my own with my own blog.

How long have you been working on this blog and about how much time to you spend blogging?

I’ve been working on this blog since May 2009 and spend about an hour every other day on it.

Do you have a favorite restaurant and/or dish?

My favorite dish right now has to be the shio butter ramen at Hanamizuki Japanese Restaurant on International Drive, only available during lunch. The broth is savory, hearty, and delicious and the noodles are divine.

Has being a food blogger change your experience at restaurants?

Yes I am much more critical now but also more understanding.

Are there other topics you would want to blog about?

 Zombies!

What are your favorite blogs?

The Daily City and The Angry Asian Man.

What advice would you give to out-of-towners looking to try the Orlando food scene?

Look beyond the theme park fare and you will be pleasantly surprised. just look harder my friends.

What’s next up in the queue for you? Any projects coming up that you’re particularly excited about?

I am excited about my upcoming trip to Hong Kong!
