DaFoodies Attacked El Bodegon! We pretty much suck at soccer, so as foodies, what better way to give props to Spain for winning the 2010 World Cup than by eating their food? This tapas and wine restaurant near Winter Park Village gave us a good taste (ha! get it?) of Spain with its traditional decor and live Flamenco music.
We had a variety of seafood (octopus, mahi mahi, cod fish, crab and salmon) and red meats (skirt steak, dry-aged Spanish ham and lamb shank) accompanied with a nice, cold, fruity in-YO-face Sangria!

DaFoodies Attacked Dexter’s! This table is loaded with Orlando-based Public Relations/Social Media rockstars and special guest Jason Sadler from www.iwearyourshirt.com. They had attended a roundtable hosted by the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) the day before and decided to follow up over lunch the following day. Good times!
DaFoodies Attacked Crave! Crave, by Millenia Mall, was the site for a very relaxed yet fun Sunday lunch. This time we were joined by brilliant minds. Jeannette, the travel journalist; Kat Kelly, public relations extraordinaire; Education innovator Dr. Siegel & his charming wife Terri, with friend Todd, and last but not least. Jan Morales, future Tour de France champion!
We enjoyed a tasty feast of burgers, sandwiches, sushi, and pasta. These American, Asian and Italian cuisines were quite fitting for the fusion restaurant. Thanks to the ever funny Dr. Siegel for many good laughs and anecdotes.

DaFoodies Attacked Anatolia! Orlando foodies gathered at Anatolia’s Mediterranean restaurant in Dr. Phillips as part of last month’s DaFoodie Attacks event.
We started off with the fresh, oven-cooked Lavas (Chef’s special bread) with Hummus as well as Falafel appetizers. Tavuk, Dana and Kuzu Kebabs were on the table but not for long! With a small amount of tables, Anatolia’s provided an intimate setting for us to get to know each other.
Costa Rican, Guatemalan, Dominican, German and American nationalities were represented and all enjoyed this Turkish food. Orlando has so many great ethnic food options!

DaFoodies attacked La Nuova Cucina! They were treated to six rounds of appetizers on the house! Classy decor and a cozy atmosphere were the backdrop for two childhood friends who hadn’t seen each other in more than 10 years to reconnect over delicious Filet Mignon and Lamb Chops.
Others enjoyed yummy dishes like Fried Calamari and Octopus Carpaccio; Spinach, Gorgonzola and Walnut Bruschetta; Angus Beef Short Ribs Rustic Ravioli; Green Lasagna with Eggplant and Salmon with Honey, Ginger and Orange Sauce, and more.
